The AVILOO Battery Warranty. Free warranty coverage. Independently verified.
Risk factor becomes selling point
The AVILOO Battery Warranty provides financial protection for used EV batteries: 1-year term, 20,000 km, €3,000, zero additional costs. The uncertainty of the battery has now become a reliable selling point.
Now available in the UK and Ireland. Over the coming weeks, the Europe-wide rollout will take place in stages.
The AVILOO Battery Warranty is the first warranty for traction batteries that is based solely on objective, independent measurement data. It builds on the AVILOO FLASH Test and the independent AVILOO Battery Certificate, combining the diagnostic results with a data-driven forecast of battery capacity trends.
What makes it special: the AVILOO Battery Warranty is automatically included in the FLASH Test for every eligible vehicle, at no additional cost.
In other words: While the battery certificate describes the battery’s current condition, the AVILOO Battery Warranty also provides protection against potential SoH defects, making the risk for buyers predictable.
This is based on a vehicle-specific SoH limit, which is calculated individually using AVILOO's database—the world's largest battery database. If this limit is exceeded during the warranty period, the battery warranty will apply. The only determining factor is the result of an AVILOO FLASH Test.
The AVILOO Battery Warranty covers one year or 20,000 kilometers. The warranty certificate clearly specifies the SoH limit that must not be exceeded during this period.
If the SoH value falls below this limit during the warranty period, customers will receive 3,000 euros in compensation. The second AVILOO FLASH Test, which confirms the warranty claim, will also be fully reimbursed.
The verification test can be performed at any time during the warranty period.
The AVILOO Battery Warranty is a separate document. It supplements the battery certificate but remains clearly separate from it.
This is important because the independent battery diagnosis remains unchanged. The battery warranty builds on this and adds an extra layer of protection.
In 5 simple steps — completely free of charge and automatic:
The car dealer performs the AVILOO FLASH Test on the used electric vehicle.
The algorithm automatically checks whether the vehicle meets the warranty requirements.
The warranty is activated automatically — no extra effort, no additional costs.
An individual SoH threshold is calculated and recorded in the certificate.
The customer receives the digital warranty certificate via AVILOO Connect.
The AVILOO Battery Warranty is available exclusively in the new remarketing space AVILOO Connect. This space is available exclusively to B2B customers such as dealers, remarketing platforms, wholesalers, and fleet operators.

The battery warranty is designed for the professional used EV market, specifically dealers, sales platforms, wholesalers, and fleet operators. It provides additional security for end customers.
The AVILOO Battery Warranty is available in the new AVILOO Connect remarketing platform. AVILOO Battery Certificates and AVILOO Preview are also integrated there.
No. The battery warranty is a separate official document that supplements the results of the AVILOO FLASH Test, but remains distinct from the certificate.
The battery warranty is based on the results of the AVILOO FLASH Test, the AVILOO Battery Certificate, and a data-driven forecast of battery capacity trends. The calculation is based on AVILOO's database of battery diagnostic data, the largest of its kind in the world.
The AVILOO Battery Warranty is always valid for 1 year and covers a maximum mileage of 20,000 kilometers during that period.
If the SoH falls below the limit specified in the warranty certificate during the warranty period, customers will receive €3,000 in compensation. The second AVILOO FLASH Test, which confirms the warranty claim, will also be fully reimbursed.
The vehicle must be included in the official AVILOO coverage, the test conditions must be reasonable, and there must be no suspicion of tampering. Experimental tests are not permitted, and the FLASH Test must be paid for.
A battery warranty is only available if the vehicle is covered under the official AVILOO Warranty and the specified conditions are met.
Yes. After purchasing the battery warranty, a second AVILOO FLASH Test can be performed for verification purposes. If the SoH limit is exceeded, this confirmation test will be fully reimbursed.
